We recently convened a panel discussion to explore the horizons of rural education in the United States. From that conversation, a key insight emerged: student, family, and community expectations of the post-high school experience are often different from urban and suburban settings.
The session will reconvene the original panelists to explore that topic in greater depth and address a fundamental question: what shifts do educators in rural schools need to make to best support each student's success on their lifelong learning journey?
